Gowna GFC is a small rural club in Cavan that runs along the border of county Longford. In the 90's and early 00's Gowna had great success in the senior mens grade winning 7 senior championships which was an amazing achievement considering the size of the area. Gowna GFC Ladies team are a competitive force having won several championships throughout the years.
